Kamloops, BC— The City of Kamloops is proud to announce David Hallinan has been selected as the new Corporate Services Director effective April 3, 2023, following a rigorous selection process.
David has over 25 years of experience as a business professional and holds his Chartered Professional Accountant designation. He joined the City in 2016, starting out as the Budget and Reporting Manager before transitioning to the Financial Planning and Procurement Manager in 2018. Prior to joining the City, he spent thirteen years at BC Lottery Corporation as a Senior Accountant of Bingo Finance (2003–2008), the Manager of Facilities and Administration (2007–2008), and the Director of Corporate Services and Facilities (2008–2016).
As Corporate Services Director, David will provide leadership and coordination of five divisions—Information Technology, Legislative Services, Financial Services, Planning and Procurement, and Enterprise Risk Management.
