Celebrate Kelowna’s Outstanding People at the 2022 Civic & Community Awards

Now is your chance to celebrate the extraordinary people of Kelowna! Submit a nomination for the Civic & Community Awards, and recognize those individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations that have made outstanding contributions to our city. Nomination deadline? Friday, Feb. 10th – so don’t delay!

For this year’s awards, categories include: Sarah Donalda Treadgold & Fred Macklin Memorial Award – Citizen of the Year; Champion for the Environment; Corporate Community of the Year; Honour in the Arts; Teen Honour in the Arts; Young Citizen of the Year; Bob Giordano Memorial Award – Volunteer Coach or Sport Administrator of the Year; Central Okanagan Foundation – Volunteer Organization of the Year, Male & Female Athlete of the Year and Bryan Couling Memorial Award – Athletic Team of the Year. The Young Citizen of the Year award will provide a Dillon Thomas Budd & Payton Leigh Budd Youth Scholarship with $2,000 going to one recipient and $1,000 each to two finalists. The Teen Honour in Arts award also includes a $500 entrance scholarship sponsored by UBC Okanagan’s Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies.
